Thomas is a co-founder and partner at Abion’s Norwegian branch and a seasoned IP attorney with 20 years of industry experience. He provides strategic counsel across the full spectrum of intellectual property, with a particular focus on trademark and design protection, enforcement, and dispute resolution.
He advises both national and international clients on IP protection, managing cases both in Norway and globally. With prior experience at the EU Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), he now handles matters before both the Norwegian Industrial Property Office (Patentstyret) and the EUIPO. Thomas earned his law degree from the University of Oslo in 2004 and became a licensed attorney in 2020.
In addition to his practice, he chairs the Marques Copyright Team and serves as a member of the SQAP team, reviewing opposition decisions at the EUIPO on behalf of Marques.
